Fine Art Giclée Prints
A giclée is a very high resolution print of original art that is created using a special type of laser printing machine that employees 7 – 12 ink cartridges. Giclées are printed with pigment based inks (instead of common dye based inks) onto archival paper.
Pigment based inks are very rich in color, and very stable – they will last 100 or more years without fading. Pigment based ink colors are also more accurate and saturated, and they cover a broader color spectrum than the four dye based inks used in typical laser printers, so fine details and subtle color changes are visible and vibrant.
Our 10″ x 10″ fine art giclée prints are created in small batches and individually signed by the artist. They are printed onto 130 lb acid free bright white paper, and come packaged with a double-sided white backer board, in a closed cello bag.
8″ x 8″ image is centered within a 10″ x 10″ square.
